I was building a custom bike rack for my truck. I needed a gas shock for the lifting mechanism and I found gas springs website. I love their interactive ability to change things on the fly to see the difference between shocks. Can you help me search through lots of options to finally be able to pick the one I needed. Great webs site but something went awry because what arrived was considerably different than what I had ordered. However they have agreed to issue an RMA so that was nice and good business.

It is incredible to be able to find any and all obscure springs, even ones from companies that have gone out of business a long time ago. Simply input measurements or any part number that is still visible on the old gas spring and boom! there it is.

I was needing gas springs for forklifts. The dealer was priced very high especially on uncommon ones and the after market versions (if available were low quality with no service life. I have been very satisfied with Gasspringshop.

I really appreciate the calculator and simulator tool on the website. It helped figure out what I needed in a gas spring and helped me visualize the placement of the spring for my project. Ordering the spring was simple and it shipped quickly. I'm so happy with the results!

The website is great. I like you can build the exact gas spring you need, even with the ends. Only wish is that they sold the ends that have the clip to hold the head on the ball

Easy install on my custom application.

Generally satisfied with the product and service, rod ends were loose and one was completely off as received. I had to modify one rod end on each cylinder to make them work because the reach was shorter than the originals.

The configurator is an absolute legend. I searched for weeks for stock replacements for my roofbox and found them to be unavailable or crazy expensive ($50-75 ea!). The configurator on this site let me copy every spec of my stock gas shocks one click at a time and the results are a perfect bolt-on replacement (just needed a ruler). Only thing slightly negative I could say is I didn't receive any notice after the initial confirmation email, they just showed up a couple weeks later. But hey, custom, exact fit in a couple weeks for ~$35 ea? Done.

I was called back by one woman who said someone would be reaching out to me. Sent additional emails about a return authorization for a wrong part ordered and nobody returned the email or called. we should be able to talk to a human when a specific piston is needed.

I am trying to exchange 2 gassprings purchased under purchase order number WS38729US. The springs I ordered are too strong (250N) and I need 150N springs. I have been trying to work throuigh Customer Service Dept - I have called and responded to email but have not heard anything since last Tuesday. I have cal,led and left messages twice - the message states I would receive a call back within 2 business days - I have not received any response by phone or email. Becoming very dissatisfied
