Sent several emails to customer service with no response. The calculator doesn’t work and is a misleading tool. This company apparently just a seller and doesn’t care whether their product performs.

HI, I looked all over online for a gas piston to replace the 25-year-old one that aged out for my attic hatch cover. I finally found that gassprintsshop.com had the part. The only other option I found was to order it from England at double the price. Hector at Customer Service made sure I got the right part. Thanks Hector!

I needed something to make a 16-lb. window seat open and close more easily. Friction hinges were unreliable. The calculator at Gasspringsshop.com is an amazing app! I entered the most accurate info I could. It recommended a 6-15-100, which I ordered. But after reading the website more thoroughly, I found I could reduce the force on the hinges with something smaller, a 4-12-150. So I asked Héctor in customer service to cancel the order and let me start again, this time with the smaller spring. He was very polite understanding and wonderful to work with. Couldn't have been easier! The smaller spring works like a charm. Now the window seat opens and closes easily and stays wherever I put it without falling on my head or fingers. I am a big fan of these springs, and I'll be looking for other uses. And I'll get them here, at Gasspringsshop.com.

Used online design application for lifting a drill press belt cover. Results work very well and would recommend for other applications. Online ordering was seamless and parts were delivered in a timely manner with updates along the way. I will use Gasspring in the future and highly recommend them.

Only request is put a print out of the assembly guide in the box. No internet from my woodshop

My original shipment of 4 pistons was missing the 2nd bag of 4 bearing shoes. The company shipped a replacement order and it was the wrong part, I received the M8 EYES only. I still need 4 of the M8 Bearing shoes. The 2 pistons I was able to install on a very heavy wood bulkhead basement door work very well.

I loved being able to design a product layout online. I was able to order with confidence that the product would perform as intended. After following in the installation instructions, the first test was a perfect success!

I liked that the product is German designed and American made, and not Chinese. A bonus is that they provide a way to calculate what you need, taking the guess work out of ordering. The only hitch was that a nut was missing from my first order, but that was not a big deal. Shipping was very fast.

It seems like these gas shocks should last longer than three years. They are only opening and holding open small cupboard doors that swing upward.

I never post negative reviews of company's I do business with as my experiences tend to be favorable however this company has really left me with no other option. I could expand on each of these points but there's no sense as I will be shocked if my review gets a response. The software this company uses for customers to find out what type of strut they need is clunky and problematic. The "customer service" is non-responsive, unhelpful, and deceiving... if not flat out Returns/Exchanges are non-existent even when told a manager would be able to approve. Wrong items shipped out multiple times despite correctly ordering the right item. No response when help is needed. All in all... I'm stuck with recommended struts that are too long... two recommended reducers of the same size that are too small... a project that is still incomplete... hundreds of dollars down the drain... multiple unanswered emails... and a negative review from a letdown customer. Stay away.
