Getting in touch has been very difficult. Ray was very helpful and accommodating. When we did get a hold of him finding a phone number to call was very difficult. When I finally did find a phone number, it was difficult to get a live person on the loan. After many calls I finally got a live person online and they forwarded me to inside sales. I was on hold for over two hours. This is no exaggeration. I took a screen capture of the call when I hung up after being on hold for over two hours. I have purchased eight gas springs and one failed within a couple of weeks. I had to purchase a new one to replace it. I would like to get this one replaced under warranty but I have no information on how to return it. Ray was going to send me that information via email, but I do not have it. These units were purchased to use on props for the East Lincoln high school band. There are only three more weeks of band competitions. I would like to have this repaired or replaced so I have a spare during these three weeks after the three weeks are up it will be too late for this season. There was no one who picked up their phone to discuss ordering several gas springs. When ordered, the springs came with different ball end joints that weren't what we wanted. There was no one to call to contact to try to fix this.

I'll see see the president of Egypt I replaced the 900 Newton spring that used to lift my hood up with a new 950 spring. The new spring has no more power than the old wore out spring. Also why is there no number to contact you so I could have got some resolution or even information before I ordered the spring.

The web tool for calculating the correct struts and there installation location works well. I installed a set of struts to raise/support the roof of a shed that we built to store a motorcycle. The struts work great. I liked them so much that I added a set to support the roof of a smaller garbage shed.

The gas strut on line design application is fantastic and was very helpful in sizing up the gas strut for my project!

I ordered online after using their calculator and talking with customer service about the best fit for my project. I placed the order on 9/20. I followed up on 9/27 as I had not received any shipping info or confirmation of my order. At that time, I was notified that the shipping department had been asked to ship the springs "tomorrow." I followed up again on 10/3 as I had not received the shipping info and was informed that the item was out of stock and that they would rush the order. When I asked about the production timeline, I was given the option of two different sizes currently in stock and that I could choose one of those and have the other springs refunded. When I chose one of the options and asked about my refund, the customer service agent (whom I had been working with the entire time) indicated they could not refund me as they had yet to receive the returned product. Again, the product was never shipped. When I returned the emails they had sent me about the refund, I was ultimately sent a screenshot indicating a refund had been issued. I still need the springs, but I will not order another size from this company.

I needed two gas springs for a new custom 250 lb hidden hatch through a front porch of a 200 year old house. The configuration app, while a little challenging to figure out, was extremely helpful and provided the ability to easily and quickly compare different struts and mounting points to give me the most optimal design. I also sent a question to customer service and got a detailed and thoughtful answer! Shipping was quick, quality is top notch, and price was very fair. It's so easy to spec these, I want to find other applications around my house for gas springs... love these things! Thank you.

The strut replaced a not-so-common BMW scooter part that was more expensive from the dealer. Fit was perfect, shipped quickly and packaged well. I'll be looking forward to my next purchase when my next vehicle needs a replacement strut.

I had a special application that they took to their engineering department and came up with the perfect set of gas springs for my setup. Communication was quick and great.

Lack of a person to call. Left on hold for 12 plus minutes which no one then answered. VM INOP Lack of stock for a quick order replacement. Person receiving my order called my company to see if we had his order which we did. He stated he could not make contact with your company at all. In general Extremely Poor Service As to the next question below, only if that was the only place to get needed items IF you are not in any hurry. FYI: I normally never give a rating or feed back but I thought you needed it badly. Furthermore, I feel your disclaimer at the bottom sucks. I do not give permission to use my info for any other reason then to ID me as a customer. NOT for sale or use other then for ID purposes.

Their interface and simulation to help me calculate my needs with springs was amazing! granted, a little complicated, but one can understand why. Thankfully they explain everything at the bottom. The springs I ordered as a result worked the first time!
