They matched my old gas spring perfectly. The only problem I had in installation was compressing the spring enough to get it to fit in place when I installed them. It was a bit of a struggle but I figured out a way. Otherwise they work perfectly and hopefully they will last a long time so I don’t need to be bothered with the installation again.

I'd never sized or purchased a gas spring before and was unaware of all the options available. As I explored the website, I could see that it should be easy, but I was far from able to make a selection. Thankfully I was able to talk to a very nice and informative representative, and she got me what I needed. She sent emails with links to the items and I was able to make my purchase from there. As a bonus, I now know more about gas springs that I ever thought I would. If I need a gas spring again, this will be my first stop.

The calculator was great for ciphering the gas springs we needed for a large wooden chest. It eliminated guesswork on our part. The recommended parts all worked as desired. Thank you.

I could have bought gas spring struts on Amazon or anywhere else, but it was most helpful to be able to ask questions to staff at the gasspringshop and get quick and personalized answers.

1.) I thought the Calculator was an excellent tool; but, when I needed to re-measure my trap door details, and entered new numbers, they didn't actually replace the original measurements I'd entered--even after exiting the gasspringsshop website and closing the browser. So, when I received confirmation of the order, one of the measurements "B-Green" on the order confirmation diagram was incorrect . (Isn't there a way to clear data to start over?) 2.) The order-processing speed was impressive; but was so fast I couldn't make the change to "B-Green". 3.) When the package arrived, there were no instructions in the box. The #'s on the gas springs: 0240N WS23106US 33/22 did not match any numbers on the order: 8-19-300. I called to get clarification; but no one answered, and no one responded to the voice message I left. 4.) I installed the gas springs, and they are an improvement on the previous auto-parts store gas springs, but the trap door is still quite heavy to lift from horizontal floor level and is heavy to control closing the door back to floor level. Perhaps I'd have ordered a different pair if I'd actually gotten some help.

I was able to use their gas strut calculator for a project that I had built. It was straight forward and easy to use. I ordered the pieces and parts that were recommended. They arrived in within a few days. I followed the calculators measurements and instructions to the letter. The gas strut installation work absolutely perfect!! Great experience. Highly recommend.

I used the calculator to figure out what struts I needed for my wood box lid. After entering a few dimensions and the weight of the lid it gave me the perfect product for my application. It did everything including picking the ends and it gave me a drawing of where to install the mounts which were spot on.

Received a link from my RTT vendor and ordered it on my phone in 2 minutes. Received it 3 days later. Awesome experience

Everything was great up to the point when I received my product. My springs are compressed and all of the information I find online has the springs in the fully open position.. I have requested information on this installation and I am still waiting.

Gasssprings had the hard to find parts i needed and shipped on time as stated. arrived in good shape, packed well.

Not much interaction but the website and configuration tool worked well. It is a little on the light side for the door I am using it on but it fit well.

Amazing, my wife's 35 year old sewing table had a german gas strut that gave up the ghost and wouldn't keep it elevated, Alternatives ran into the hundreds of dollars. When I found Grassprings and used their guide the match was great. Great price, worked perfectly.
