I found a spring that was exactly the right length and strength on Gasspringshop.com, but I had to grind down and re-thread the attachment points to fit in the large mechanical monitor arm that I was repairing. It took a few hours, but was completely succesful and the spring is operating perfectly.

After struggling with two sets of gas shocks for sometime (guessing on where to place them and what size to buy) I discover the gas springs shop website. After imputing all the data I was presented with the appropriate shocks and a detailed drawing for placement. Presto! They worked like a champ!

The gas shock worked great. I ordered the same part number I had to be replaced. The shock was the same but the two end pieces were different connectors. the ball threads were larger than previous ones too.

Hi, I actually need help; good product, no issues. However, I ordered the opposite resistance I need. The spring arrived in the extended position, I need the spring to be in the compressed state when installing in order to give resistance when extending. Can you help with swapping the two springs I ordered?

Needed a new shock for a CNC machine and was able to match one up and the one we picked turned out to be to soft of one and not enough force to hold the door open. They said sent it back and they will take care of it at no charge besides the shipping costs.

I requested a replacement for Stabilus-O-Mat 6523IU 0250N i received was is not a replacement. the stroke is like half of what i need. Goto Stabilus website and you can see that the unit has 250MM stroke. So no i'm not happy and i bought from someone else who has a proper replacement.

I found the website to best on the internet to provide specifications and details to allow accurate configuration of the my required custom gas struts. They came in a timely fashion but I didn't receive any tracking information and was about to call or that when the package arrived. The struts appear well made and time will tell if they perform well going forward.

Ordered a pair of gas springs and noticed they were on backorder until 4 January 2023. My first thought is "Yay, supply chain issues will drag this into March since that is what all of the other backorders end up with other companies." Lo and behold, it shipped out a few days after 4 January. Super happy. Thx!!!

The cost was a little more but the online design tool was worth it. Another less expensive site suggested a trial and error design approach.
