Exactly as described and fit perfectly

I got exactly what I wanted exactly when it was promised. Can’t ask for more.

We needed new gas struts for the hinged bed on our camper. It was near impossible to buy the proper struts from any of the big auto parts chain stores. By filling out the simple online order form for Gasspringshop.com, we were able to have the proper struts shipped in a timely manner. The struts are a perfect match for our application.

As a first time user it was fairly easy to use and navigate.

Placed order using online selection tool for Stainless Steel gas springs with hardware. The order did not ship for over a week as it was "lost". I had to follow up by phone and email to find someone to locate and ship my order.

I wanted an undampened 200N gas spring. I go got a gas damper instead. I will be returning the product.

Couldn’t find this strut anywhere; I used their website to design the part I needed. If was of excellent quality and the measurements were spot on! You will need to know how to pull your own measurements and use a micrometer though. From my experience, they will make exactly what you order!

I found the website extremely helpful to determine exactly which cylinders and mounting hardware I needed.

I started by using their calculator to find the mounting locations. I got help for their rep Stephanie who showed me i could vary dimensions “A” and “B” which changed dimension “C” snd “D” to fit in my packaging constraints. I installed the strut brackets at those locations and it worked perfectly and lifted my 35 x 84” metal lid. I was impressed. Ps the price was great

Be prepared not to hear a WORD from this company....AT ALL, until your struts arrive. There is no order confirmation email, no shipment email with tracking number, if you have a question about the struts your ordering, well too bad...questions are not allowed. There's not even a number to call anyone about your order...it's all done by email, which I assume goes straight into the garbage. I paid for two-day shipping (and extra $46.00), and amazingly it arrived 6 days later...do not waste your money to ship faster, because it doesn't matter. Not until I disputed the charge, did someone from the company call me.... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The struts do look like they are constructed well.

Extremely impressed with the service! Used the configurator to order...then realized I got the units on my scale wrong. Sent an email after hours...received a call the next morning! Alas, I forgot the lady's name, but she got everything fixed up perfectly in under 10 minutes. Package arrived in just a couple days. WOW WOW WOW! Now that's service! Absolutely topnotch. THANK YOU!

Pro: Stephanie was courteous and cooperative. Con: Order wasn't shipped complete. No packing list or documentation was enclosed with hardware. When vendor was made aware, problem was not solved in a timely manner. Order was then delayed by carrier.

Been looking for this specific gas shock and this was the only place I was able to find it, the fit is correct and the pressure is perfect infact I need to order another one for the other door on my trailer

I used the on line wizard to assist me in determining which units to use. I installed the first side, and for the first time in 35 years my wife is now able to access our crawl space storage area. So extermely happy about that. Only short coming was that once the second unit was installed, the crawl space access door wanted to remain open. I removed and will retain the second unit as a backup. But for safety sake, I would have preferred a unit on either side of the door as it is quite heavy, Other than that, as noted above, I am happy with the product, as well as the service provided.

3rd shipment that the snap rings are missing due to wrapping issues to prepare for shipping. But they have always shipped more without question. Amazing products!

I quickly found what I needed on the website place my order and had my parts within two days. It would be helpful if they provided a tracking number and notification of shipping. I will be back as a customer.

I enjoyed the designer they have. It allowed me to experiment with different geometries to determine the right fit. I like that the parts that fit that particular gas shock were also listed on the same page, taking the guess work out of the equation.
