I enjoyed the designer they have. It allowed me to experiment with different geometries to determine the right fit. I like that the parts that fit that particular gas shock were also listed on the same page, taking the guess work out of the equation.

No issues at all. Kinda amazing: have a tool that helps you engineer your application, then order the springs and fittings, then it took about 5days to arrive… I futzed with the geometry a bit either my door weight was off or my geometry. But it’s was off the last time i ran a calculation on another application and then installed with similar results. But it’s way close to the gas springs calculation and when we moved the hole .5” and perfecto! right… so within my margin of error. The issue was the original hole locations= - 3degree cover slope Open, adjusted by half inch = 0degree Open cover slope.

What an easy way to deal with somewhat of a difficult math problem. Had a 3x6 trap door that weighs about 125lbs leading to my basement. Researched many companies and advice on how to install gas struts to make it work flawlessly. Your company’s website was extremely user friendly and made the process so easy. Thanks to you I have a terrific working trap door with a quality product that I know will last! Would love to send you a picture of the finished product for your customers to see.

no pude encontrar el resorte de gas "exacto"que necesitaba aun que les proporcione los datos exactos de la pieza a sustituir e iclusive les mande fotografias y me enviaron un resorte de gas diferente al que necesitaba y cuando trate de hacer un adapte con el resorte de gas nuevo no me pudieron conseguir terminales de diferente medida para lograrlo le daba medidas tecnicas y no las entendian nesesitan tener partes y soporte tecnico

I had the great opportunity to speak with one of your representatives Stephanie. She was super helpful an understanding. She kindly walked me through the process on the configurator program on the web site and help put me at ease . I had tried a ton of research looking for the right information on how to install gas struts. For anyone that has tried to install gas struts on anything other than car hatches or RV's where its just a replacement they are Hell to figure out. Stephanie walked me off the ledge and led me in the right direction and I was able to complete the project for my clients. Much appreciated!!

I personally think it’s a bad experience. I purchased a very small part and have not received it yet. It’s been several weeks. There is no way to track the shipment and if there is, it’s not easy to find. Please let me know when I can expect my purchase.

Great shocks easy to order

Needed 2 gas shocks for a 20 year old machine with at least 100 lb. rating. Found exactly what was needed with the optional ends to fit my applications. Thank You! Will use again in the future.

My experience with the Glass Spring Shop was excellent. I had never ordered gas springs before so working with gas springs was new to me. I needed a set of springs to help raise and lower the top portion of a large, custom made car top carrier. After installing the springs, raising and lowering the top portion of the clamshell carrier was nearly effortless...the springs worked perfectly. A year later I installed a 175 watt solar panel attached to a swivel on the top of the carrier -- that adding about 40 lbs. I contacted the Gasspringshop and they suggested I return the springs in order to add more force to the springs. They calculated the new force required and provided a very quick turn-around. When I installed the updated springs everything again worked perfectly. I highly recommend the Gasspringshop -- first rate products and outstanding service. I couldn't be more pleased.

I received the wrong set of struts. I have been in contact with someone in the return department. I was told that your company would be sending out a return slip for a refund last week. So far I have not received anything to return the struts for the right ones. Being trying for three weeks to get this issue resolved. In the meantime I lost a sale to the customer. Fast shipping great product

The website is efficient in letting you choose the right type of shock spring you're looking for. Prices are great and fast shipping also.

I bought a lift bed whose gas springs were under powered for the quality mattress I bought. The lift bed would not stay open with all the weight. I went online and found this company and was able to specify what I needed. Now the bed works perfectly. The springs are of high quality.

I ordered some gas springs in July, and I'm just getting around to leaving a review. There were some problems initially, but their customer service was excellent, the problems were resolved, and the product is great. I used them for a trap door weighing about 55 pounds. With the gas springs installed, I can open the door with my little finger. These things are awesome. I will definitely be using them in future projects.

Easy to order and fast shipping

Would be 5 stars but they do not send shipping notices, so I did not know when to expect my springs. I only received an automatic order confirmation right after I submitted my order. No other communications. Shipping was fairly quick, though.

The product quality is great and functions as expected without a glitch. Customer service is the best I've experienced, they are very responsive to the customer. One suggestion I would make is to allow the customer select the shipping company, because the one they use isn't good with on time delivery and their tracking is deceptive.

The search was easy and was able to get the part in a few days. I was glad to see the part was in stock, especially in todays world of inventory shortages.

I searched for a solution for my DIY motorcycle trailer w/folding ramp. I came across the Gasspring Shop. I cannot say enough good things about the calculator tool, it was just simply one of the best automated tools I have seen in years (30+ years in IT). I ordered on a Saturday and it arrived by noon on the following Wednesday. Under the circumstances of COVID and our supply chain issues, etc. I thought they have their processing time nailed down. And needless to say, MADE IN THE USA! I wish I had more projects to do using a gas spring.
