Sales entire experience was great. I made a poor assumption that caused problems at my fault.

Ref Order No WS16309US The purchase process was quick & effective. Your representative personally telephoned me to answer questions that I had misunderstood. I jumped to the wrong conclusion earlier, but it was my error that caused my confusion. Please disregard my previous comments. I give the highest ratings to your staff & company.

Sales presentation was great, but the return authorization process was a nightmare.

Ref Order No WS16309US Although the purchase process was quick & effective when it became necessary to return the product Gas Spring Shop became adversarial in nature. Having read the refund policy, I was confident we would meet its requirements. This was not a "special-order item." Our reason for requesting a refund was, "a duplicate order was placed & we only needed one pair." In response, the GSS's employee stated, "I checked your order status but only saw one for WS16309US. Do you happen to have the duplicate orders purchase number?" We felt this requirement was outside of GSS's return policy requirements & was in fact questioning the honesty of our reason for return. The duplicated order was placed by another staff member which acted independently of the order to be returned. We agreed to locate the duplicated order number & did so by communicating via email with GSS. This information has been in the hands of the Gas Spring Shop's employee for more than 48 hours & we have received no response to our request for a return authorization. Today a new separate request has been sent to GSS for the same return & reason stated above, in the hope someone new will review & approve it. In short, GGS was quick & effective in selling their product but uncooperative in accepting a request for a product return. In the future we will do our upmost to not purchase from GSS in the furure. Please feel free to contact me for additional information, i.e., GSS employee name. Thank you.

Couldn't have been easier!

My ONLY knock on this site NOT the product (to be clear!!!). The calculator dimensions for installation should be viewed as a recommendation of where to start. My design is a "flip up window" - option 2 on the calculator. Had I mounted it exactly to the dimensions, the window would have been far beyond the "Zero" open angle, instead of it being parallel to the ground and perpendicular to the face of the opening. That being said....PERFECT product, easy to mount, and you can't beat the pricing!
