The reason my first review was unsatisfactory was because I received a request for a (good) review before I received notice of shipment, tracking of ship or the shipment itself. I can’t be expected tp offer a positive review for service or product I haven’t received.

I would include instructions on how to handle the ends. There is a little trick that 1/2 blind RV’s cannot see very well. Once I saw how to remove the safety pin everything worked great. Also I would suggest listing the mounting screw sizes. The computer sizing program is ok but I needed to adjust the C dimension due to interference. Also the force of the shock was not shown on the calculation page. so the you can do some adjustment. Could not adjust C and the force calculated was difficult to get to. Needless to say I did the calculations by hand and everything is good. Wife loves the lift. By the way I over estimated the weight of frame and mattress so everything is on the light side. Put a latch to keep the bed down while traveling. Right now lift is so-so easy - very neutral. Hold down - remove latch - bed slowly lifts. Pulling down is just as easy.

Called a little late and the lady stayed after hours to help me , she was super nice , a model of all sales personnel .

I ordered M5 elbow and M5 eye and I received M7 elbow and M7 eye. This was a small mistake on your part but made a mess on my end. Check the size against the order please.

The spring calculator works well. Just play with the numbers until you figure it out. Remember to save the calculations so you have the measurements for the insulation. I had to experiment with mounting position to get it just right. No big deal. Very happy with the gas springs.

The items fit perfectly and operated as I had anticipated. The original order was lost in transit but the seller cheerfully sent a replacement order without question - a sign of an honest seller.

Like the calculation program but didn't quite understand the significance of the hinge point loading and the spring i ordered pulled the hinges loose. i am sending them back to have the force reduced. Only complaint is that i can't recalculate the force so i can tell your company what force i want. After reading and studying i settled on using some proportional adjustments to reach a value. i understand why you wouldn't want to give away calculation results but it seems to me you should have a way to recalculate the force without having to reorder.

These guys are pros. Their gas springs are well made and work great. The on-line calculator has enough pictures and descriptions to make figuring your needs relatively straight forward.
