I had an unusual storage space 2ft high by 4ft long and 5 ft off the floor. The most efficient door would open up so gas springs were the solution to keep the door open. Looked all over the country to replace 10 year old springs. No luck. Fortunately, staff at Gasspringshop where very helpful in guiding me to their custom build site. I made all the needed measurements, ordered and crossed my fingers. A week or so I received the replacements. I only had to increase the diameter of the main end of the spring slightly. Works like a charm.

Our 2005 John Deere Gator needed a replacement. No one near by could help. After am Email to gasspring problem resolved. Door works perfectly and stays open for easy on and out.

I needed new gas struts for a 15 year old sport-utility trailer with a clamshell lid. The struts weren't anything special, but because it wasn't a passenger vehicle, I couldn't search it for it through auto parts suppliers. A local shop tried to match them up to some they had in their stockroom, but couldn't find a match. So I googled the numbers off the struts, found a few suppliers online, and Gasspringshop was the cheapest, plus offered a coupon for my first order when I came to the site. So I bought them, they arrived in half the estimated shipping time, and they fit perfectly. Now I can finally stop having the trailer lid shut on my head when I'm loading stuff. Thank you.

The part fit my application, but I purchased the wrong part for the weight of my application.

I emailed customer service and they took care of it right away, cancelling the order for the wrong part so that I could then order the correct part. The spring arrived in a very timely manner. The fit and function were perfect! The spring I ordered was to replace a spring that had gone bad in the safety cover mechanism on my paper cutting machine. it sure is nice to not have the safety cover falling onto my fingers between cuts.
