I am currently building a CNC Router enclosure for home use. While construction this enclosure I decided to make the front door swing upward for ease of access. I figured I would install gas struts to assist with lifting this door which weight approximately 35 pounds. Had a great experience and great communication. only request would be to better explain the force of the springs to people that don't understand. everything else was very simple. love the website with calculator and drawings. just didn't understand the "force" part. the weight of my door was calculated very accurately from a 3D model and the spring was not strong enough.

The configuration app on the company website worked perfectly for my application. I received the order in about 3 days. After mounting the struts according to the dimensions provided in the app, the 80lb. trap door to my game room opens and closes safely and with ease. I’m now thinking of other possible applications using gas springs, and would definitely use, and recommend this company again. I have a wellhead housing that tilts back for access to the electrical connections and pressure tank. It was built using a wood frame with a metal roof and siding; total weight of 225 lbs. I would never have attempted to add lifting struts without the kind engineering assistance that your website provides.

Awesome folks and great tools to help find your product which arrived on time during the holidays! The only thing I can imagine to carry the positives almost over the top would be a way to enter spring dims in inches rather than metric units, without resorting to EU online calculators on other sites.

I found them online doing a search. I had a 200lb steel trap door I needed to have gas shocks on. I used their very easy to use online design system to figure out what I needed. Once I was done I printed the easy to ready installation instructions and measurements. I place the order just before Christmas and received it within days. I installed the shocks and they worked perfectly only requiring minimal effort to open and close the 200lb steel door. Love their quality, the website and the shipping.
