Received quicker than I thought

I am a seasoned engineer with a variety of manufacturing and design experience. I purchased these to support our bus conversion bunk bed. The calculator, configure, order, design fields, etc. - comprehensive solution and novel business approach. I love it all.

Quick delivery- everything works well

The agents helped me to identify the correct replacement strut for a 30+ year old tractor after I ordered the wrong one. New unit fit and worked perfectly and the return of the incorrect part was relatively easy.

I was able to build just the right gas spring for out RV bed lift. All of the other online products were close but not the right configuration. Hector responded quickly to any questions and they are in North Carolina! Thanks for making a great product delivered quickly.

I got exactly what I ordered. Much better quality than what you get from Amazon with plastic ends that don’t last. I need another gas spring so I will be order soon.

the design tools make very simple and takes out the guess work

I purchased a set of gas springs. One failed under warranty. Hector said it was still under warranty. I sent it in. Had no replies for weeks. Now it is out of warranty because it sat in their facility for over 3 weeks and he says out of warranty. Do not buy from them.

Experience with your company was flawless. Item is used as a spare because the last time one failed, Dometic said the strut was unavailable, therefore I had to purchase the next higher assembly with the strut. Compare the cost of the strut to a complete awing assembly -- $100.00 to $795.00 + freight. Better safe than sorry!1

I wanted to have a hidden dart board behind a painting on my wall, with gas struts to lift the painting. The design tool allowed me to precisely create what I wanted. I installed it and it works perfectly, I could not be happier. Fast delivery as well.

My only issue was that they were not strong enough for the project. They should have been 20lbs of more pressure each.

The online app for simulating the correct springs was quite unique and helpful. The major drawback was the ability to move the attachment point and see the resulting impact on opening/closing forces. It should allow direct input of the location points rather than trying to tap in a location.

The simplicity of the online calculator made it a breeze to find the right components for the project I'm working on. Shipping was quick and reasonably priced. Will use again if needed.

I really appreciated your relatively easy website that helps calculate and configure the specific strut I required, but when I had questions I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone. I tried at least 3 times. I sent an email, only to be sent a form to fill out that was more complicated than the website. It took me a while to understand how to use the calculator, but once I did I was able to order the correct strut. Work on that customer service and you guys are 5 star!

I ordered gas Springs on your calculator and they are little weak been trying for four or five days now to get this resolved would love to talk to somebody in person but that seems to be a little difficult it might not be your fault that the phone lines are down cuz I cannot get through on the phone have given my phone number two or three times and no one seems to want to call me back so at this point not quite happy about it. need to get a different set of gas springs for my project please give me a call 417-388-0865 Greg thanks.

Loved the design tool. Needed gas struts for a heavy basement trap door. Measured, plugged in the numbers, ordered. Struts came in about a week and we installed per the measurements. Works perfectly!!

I used the gas spring calculator and placed and order. Shipping was fast. However, when I received the springs I left them in the box until I was ready for them in my project. 2 months later I'm finally ready to install and I realize that the spring I received, though they were exactly what was ordered, were not right for my application. The gas springs were much too powerful. I sent an email requesting to return these in exchange for less powerful spring, but I had exceeded the seven day window, no return was authorized. I even asked in email for assistance in calculating the correct spring with no response. The only repsonses recieved was that regarding my return request. I ended up putting my information back in the calculator to verify that I was installing them the correct way and this time the calculator showed a completely different spring. I ended up ordering that spring and it worked perfectly, but not before i researched the math behind gas spring struts to verify that the calculator was correct. Not sure why the calculator showed two different springs when I entered the same data only months apart. Lesson learned the hard way. Now I'm stuck with two perfectly new springs that I will never use at a $150 loss. Quality and shipping was great though.

I liked the fact I was able to enter my situation, obtain the results that possibly would work and the adjustability of the design to get as close to desirable as possible, with the conditions and challenges I'm up against. Ordering was simple and the product arrived without issue. Whether I would recommend or not, I say "Yes", however, I will not. Keeping that resource in my resource pool earns my additional work. My projects are about bringing resolution to "interesting" conditions. The bigger the resource pool, the greater number of projects I obtain. Sharing their information is like giving the projects away.

Impressed with the construction and design. The 'Configurator' makes it easier to determine the correct size, force and mounting.
