this is the first time i'm trying to grow my own. It sounds like I can get a lot of help from ilgm. they have a large selection of product.
I ordered 15 seeds only 5 germinated and ILGM is waiting to guarantee my seeds. Meanwhile my grow season is being shortened, ILGM has been great in the past but something has changed in quality and customer service. I used to recommend ILGM to friends but this order has made me start looking to other seed banks. hopefully ILGM will regain my trust and if they do I will post another review.

When you eat corn on the cob, the kernals at the end of the cob near the silk are small and you never see them in a bushel of seed corn because they screen them out and only the pure full kernel seeds are used to plant the corn. I seem to get 20 to 50% of my marijuana seeds that are not fully formed like you get at the end of a corn cob. This has a 3 fold negative effect. 1.) They have a higher rate of not sprouting. 2.) If they do sprout, their mortality rate is higher to die in the first 2 weeks of growth. 3.) If they do survive into a healthy plant, they are RUNTS, just like the corn seeds I described and that expect a plant to be small and puny and give very little buds. This January I started 10 of ILGM autoflowers. Only 7 of 10 sprouted. 1 died early. Of the 6 left, 3 were good normal plants. 3 were RUNTS. One 6 inches tall, one 8 inches tall, and one 10 inches tall. The amount of buds on those 3 RUNTS were equal to about 1/4 of the normal plants. Moral to the story, PLEASE send us only the full sized seeds and screen the RUNT seeds out and not sell them to us. So I bought 10 seeds and only 3 gave me decent plants. 333% hitting in baseball is good, but 333% of seeds I purchased from ILGM is NOT. Glenn Feilner University of Missouri BS in Agriculture

And you should also expect most of our seeds to germinate. We do have a replacement policy in place, for cases like these. So you can always get replacements for any duds. I have ordered from ILGM for several years, and for the most part have been satisfied. This year, I ordered 5 Bruce Banner seeds, followed ILGM’s germination guidelines to the letter, and NONE of the seeds germinated. I reached out to ILGM, and the customer service rep advised me to use tweezers and crack the shell of the seed (at the seam), plant in potting soil, and wait 10 days. Again, nothing happened. I reached out again, and was shipped 6 seeds (1 extra for my troubles), and none of them germinated. The seed replacement guarantee is only good, if your replacement seeds are worth a crap. Is it just Bruce Banner seeds, or are all of them suspect?

I had a few duds out of one strain. Contacted customer service and they wanted me to wait til I tried some more, as they only will do one replacement shipment. As it were, gad a bunch more duds and they replaced them all plus one. Had new seeds in my hands in 4 days. TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER FIRST!
I've been having issues this year. Either the BOGO offer isn't applied properly and I only received half the order on 3 separate occasions, or the 42% off percentage wasn't applied on one occasion. I know things happen, but when I reached out the customer service rep (Clare on one occasion, Pete on another, I was told The fault was mine and that I missed the sale. That was not true either time and I had to send screenshots to prove it. The one person that fixes the problem without blaming the customer has been Olaf. He has been a lifesaver and the reason I will continue to order through ILGM. But if it happens again and I get blamed for ILGM's error... I'm gonna have to go with another company. Also, the only seeds I've had this sort of issue with are the new offerings, Pineapple Daddy, Grape Fanta, Granite Haze, and Tenzin Haze. I know I can't be the only person this is happening to.
I was initially a little disappointed with the outcome of my germination but after working with the staff at ILGM, I couldn't be happier. Keep up the good work.
I’ve been using ILGM for years now, and I can honestly say I’ve always been 100% satisfied. What they say the product is—that’s exactly what you get. The genetics, strain traits, and overall quality are always spot-on, and every grow has produced outstanding flower. Their seeds are top-notch and incredibly consistent. If anything ever went off track, it was definitely user error, not a fault of theirs—lol. ILGM has been my go-to for years because they’ve earned my trust time and time again.
I followed instructions exactly as I was told, Started 5 seeds and only 3 germinated, I expected all to germinate but at least the 3 are growing. I held back 5 to start a bit later, I hope to get better results next time I try this. For the cost I expect them ALL to germinate an grow. Wouldn't you ??

As a small, legal, back-yard grower, I'm impressed by the quality of seeds available for my climate/growing situation. ILGM folks take an active, personal interest in their product being at the industry apex. A single germination issue in 5 years was immediately resolved. All my ILGM plants are the envy of my growing neighbors, at least until they order their own seeds and see how easy it is to produce stellar plants. Genetics are key. And these guys are nailing it!

I have used ILGM in the past and was always satisfied. I just received and order today for over $300 and their packaging is horrible as of these days! They have cheapened the labeling of their seeds. Instead of clearly marked so you know what you have received you are stuck studying their mini abbreviated coded descriptions on tiny containers. I received them all lumped together on one generic package and again I had to study their abbreviations to know what seeds were what! And lastly the seeds I received were all very small some partially white and very feeble looking. I will never purchase from ILGM again. I have used The Seedman lately and they are superior in every way. I have a very sophisticated growing operation and have 10 years' experience with indoor growing so I'm NOT some disgruntle amateur grower. Buyer beware...

Ok so last year 2024 I bought: 10 Apple Fritter, 10 Bruce Banner, 10 Black Widow, and 10 Gold Leaf, of all 40, 9 did not germinate, ILGM replaced the exact number that did not germinate, Cool ! but later 3 of the Bruce Banner were male or hermie, those were a loss :( . Fast forward to this year 2025 I bought the 10 get 10 with an addition 42% off, very good deal, so I received 20 Dosi Dos and 20 Purple Haze, all of the 40 total seeds were extremely small, 7 Dosidos and 5 Purple Haze did not germinate, the rest did within 24 to 48 hours, once germinate they were very small, tiny, and some of the leaves looked out of normal, but they are looking better every day. The 5 Purple Haze and 7 Dosidos that never germinated after 2 weeks were both replaced by ILGM with 8 of each a total of 16 replacement seeds so they gave me 1 extra Dosidos and 3 extra Purple Haze, Thanks ILGM ! Now I am hoping everything goes right and no males or hermies like the Bruce Banners last year. Happy growing everyone !
