thank you for sharing your experience and for providing the order number. I’m really sorry that this did not go as planned, especially since the delivery was intended as a birthday present. I can completely understand how disappointing it must have been that the promised next-day delivery could not be fulfilled and that the situation then became even more inconvenient with the DHL delivery.
It’s good to hear that our customer service already got in touch with you, but I also understand that the solution offered did not feel appropriate in relation to the inconvenience you experienced. Regarding the delivery itself, I also understand your frustration that the parcel was not left as requested. Once a shipment is handled by DHL, delivery instructions are not always guaranteed to be followed, but I agree that this still leads to a poor experience when expectations are not met.
