Complete Disaster! Never Ever!
I have purchased a list of the items from IKEA Barendrecht on 7th of March and ordered for truck delivery. On the 8th of March, my order was supposed to be delivered. The truck came with one driver and one other person who were not speaking English or Dutch at all. They did not want to carry all those items because they were big and heavy(!) They claimed that the distance to the elevator was too much, it was not, they went away with all fully loaded trucks. On 9th of March I contacted Ikea, and the delivery was arranged once more for 9th afternoon. Somebody called me from the truck and told me they will come but will be 2 hours late, so I confirmed. Around 17:00 on the 9th they called me back and told me the truck will come on 10th. I accepted. Here, the issue became seriously interesting and suspicious for me. They came on 10th with only some of the items, without any big materials (7 missing item-big and heavy ones). They did not have a proper receipt for the delivered items and they did not request any signs from my side. However, in your system, which I can see from my email, all items seem delivered and a sign is also visible which was definitely done by those delivery guys. I contacted Ikea once more after that whole mess up, they told me Alert should provide a picture to prove all those items delivered into my apartment. That was for sure your guys don't have that kind of a picture, because they did not deliver any of them. On the 11th of March, someone from IKEA called me and told me that the delivery truck was involved in an accident and our items were damaged, so they arranged another order. She advised me that 4 of the missing items were found in the truck which was involved in an accident. I already told her that those 4 items as shared in the attached order list were not the only missing ones. Question?! If the truck is involved in an accident, who, how and why Alert put their systems as successful delivery for all ordered items on 10th of March?!?!
