I enlisted the services of Trust Solar to supply and install my solar system almost ten years ago. I did this as part of my retirement plan of being energy independent and to avoid the continuous outages and tariff increases faced from Eskom. This turned out to be by far the best restirement decsion of all that I made, especially the relationship that was built with Trust Solar. The pre-installation process is not perfect and I haven't had any contact from anybody since installation other than to pay the remaining amount when the CoC was issued. The actual product and installation process appears to be of high quality and standard.
From the beginning of this experience, one was inspired by professionalism. The installation team was meticulous and perfectly honest in everything they did. The system is working better than I expected and we have already cruised through a 14 hour outage (Due to Substation Maintenance) with plenty of capacity to spare. I cannot recommend Trust Solar highly enough.

The quotation, sales and installation phases went extremely smoothly. Everybody was polite and professional. Directly after the installation was completed, I had a negative experience, but that was completely resolved on a personal level. I realise that this is a big business with many departments. Management can be tough, and I can understand these difficulties. The people I dealt with personally are most courteous and professional. I can see that this business strives to satisfy their customers to the fullest. My project looks fantastic: Roof panels, as well as equipment installed in the garage. Everything works perfectly. I am almost not buying any electricity from the grid!

Once they have your money, you can forget about them acting on your concerns. Only promises via WhatsApp, but no action. I often wait a few days for them to even read my answers and further queries - and that is often in response to their requests. If they are too busy, then they must get more people to deal with every customer equally. Wasn’t actually aware that the people I signed the deal with, which is another company, was going to completely divert me to here. Be careful choosing sellers and installers who are partnerships. If I had known, I would have gone with a single company. I wasn’t actually referred by a friend, had to choose that option because there wasn’t more to choose from. I basically had no say in choosing an installer.
