Disappointed

We purchased a moccamaster from you in April whilst at our house in France, unfortunately it came with a chip out of the enamel hotplate. I suggested to you that we would keep it, if you would kindly give us a discount as we would like to purchase a further one for our house in England, the answer came back no discount. Unimpressed with your business model. Peter Jolin.

Dear Mr Jolin, Thank you for your review and I’m sorry to read you are disappointed in our service. We want our customers to have the best experience with our machines and this includes a fully functional an proper hotplate. The damage on the hotplate could cause rust on it and this would eventually spread over the entire hotplate. This is why we offered you to send back the damaged Moccamaster without charge so we can replace it for a new one. We declined your request for discount because we believe you would experience trouble with the hotplate in the near future and have to return it anyway. The offer for sending back your Moccamaster without charge still stands. Please contact us if you would like to send in your Moccamaster. With kind regards, Team Moccamaster Sales
