Many people want to get into VPNs and specialized hardware to appear to the internet to be in a location different than they really are for several purposes. While these are sometimes necessary, watching TV is not one of the reasons to do it. Change the DNS servers on a router/Wifi WAP, login to SmartDNS and hit a link. It's that simple. They make it easy. The only thing that is hard with them is outside their control. Internet providers will change the address from time-to-time, and you have to update it. Losing power to the router also has this effect. It's a simple fix, but just part of the situation.

I can go to US and keep watching the same apps in Brazil. I can watch old sitcoms and movies that are not available in alll countries. Support team has helped through the ten years I have been using the service as things change along the way. I only miss the videos on the YouTube channel that helped me along the way .

Over the years there has been some minor issues and every one of these issues has been resolved all most instantly no matter what time of day or night it gets reported.

Works 99% of the time and when it breaks, their support is fast and responsive.

Using smartdnsproxy for over 10 yr.s While there have been occasional glitches over the years the response time to help line questions and problems via email is usually with minutes. System problems are almost always solved with a day or two if not hours. An added benefit is access to openVPN servers for all devices.
