Great til it wasnt

I was very frustrated that I wrote to say I no longer need assistance so that I didn’t waste anyone’s time. I noted a reply came in while I was writing and the next thing I know my service was cancelled

A lifesaver

It allows me to access all UK tv while living in the EU. Most of the time it just works seamlessly. Occasionally one of the UK tv services stops working. I can report it to their service desk and it is generally fixed within half an hour, even in the middle of the night.

Could not ask for a better experience

Been with Smart DNS now for a few months and in the last few days one of the services I follow stopped working. It seemed like not an easy issue to fix but support stayed with me and today the issue has been resolved. When I need help it's always there.

I don't have many problems and I'm not a young tech savvy person but when I don't understand something my problems are sorted quickly. Recently I had a problem installing on Windows 11 - one text message, a couple of quick replies with the solution and I was up and running. Big thank you.

Does what it says and for a great price.

Unlike many VPN's SmartDnsProxy has zero impact on device performance as there is nothing to install, it's simply setup in your WiFi connection. This also means that the number of devices you can use is unlimited. I use it principally with a Firestick to watch UK TV streaming services in Spain. Customer service is prompt and efficient. I only needed to contact them to clarify my renewal details not for any issues with the service. If you need a service to bypass geolocation restrictions I recommended SmartDnsProxy without reservation!

If I didn't have to report the issues I've had, probably due to saturation, my review would be excellent. While I've had to spend several hours on a few occasions trying to work out why I loose access to various services, the technical support has been prompt and professional..

Very good

Can't compare it to other services, but it is easy to use and setup and is able to perform geographic relocation for all the video services with which you have a legitimate account. When an issue does crop up, customer service addresses it promptly.

Preliminary 5* for the speed of reply to let me know progress

My subscription rolled over because PayPal sent the money automatically. I had forgotten I did this. I could see no place in the Smart DNS account where I had auto-renewal. Seems that it was in my Pay Pal account. I hope this is resolved in my favour. The 5 stars is I know that my support request has be passed on to billing at Smart DNS. I hope they will refund and close my account as I had intended.
