Great car, very good communication. Unfortunately provided wifi did not work after 3 days. In combination with the fact, that our prepaid eSIMs via Airalo did not work at all either, we had some hard moments doing the hotel bookings.

We followed some good reviews on the net and choised GWS . And the experience shows it was a good choice ; the car (Isuzu 4x4 pickup) was in perfect state ; the internet onboard is a must , we could use our phone with carplay , use Google maps for navigation and listen to our playlists; very few areas are without signal. The service is top : the car was delivered at the aiport ; we returned it at GWS office and they drove us to our guesthouse ; the day after they picked us up at the guesthouse and drove us to the airport ; all people there are kind !

We hired a 4x4 with tents on the roof and camping equipment. The whole experience was extremely smooth, Garth and Vicky were very responsive and accommodated all our requests. We would definitely recommend them and would come again.

We had a difficult time finding a rental place that can help us with a 4x4 vehicle that suited our budget This was till we got a tip from a friend to try GW Car Rental. What a awesome experience dealing with them, got a vehicle that we could afford with a full insurance cover. This was for a Suzuki Jimny with rooftop tent, but when we got there we were given a Toyota Fortuner with all the camping kit for the same price, because the Jimny were not being used with rooftop tent any more, thanks to everyone for making the trip the best we had. If you need a trip in Namibia phone them and speak to the friendly staff that is always ready to help

My third time to rent a car from GW for 3 weeks. The fortuner was young and perfectly in order. The boss and staff are very friendly and helpful. Another good experience. GW got here a happy and loyal customer.

This is the second time I have booked with Gracious Whisp and I was completely satisfied. This time I got a Suzuki Fronx in perfect condition and it was the perfect car for me at the time.

We were looking for a rental company to rent an unequipped 4x4 for a couple of weeks to tour northern Namibia (Caprivi) and Botswana, and we found GW Car Rentals with excellent reviews and attractive prices. From the first email contacts with Garth and then with Vicky to arrange the pick-up and drop-off at the end of the tour, they proved to be very reliable, kind, and professional. The rental contract is very clear, explained in detail, and has no hidden fees or costs (we opted for GW Full Cover, however). The cross-border documentation (should you need it) is also simple. The off-road vehicle they gave us (a Nissan Navara) was new, clean, and fully functional (including a second spare tire, compressor, and pressure gauge). The portable WiFi was very convenient, saving us from having to buy a Namibian eSIM: combined with the on-board Apple CarPlay, it ensured optimal navigation. We'll be back this winter and renting from them again.

Our experience with Gracious Whisp Car Rentals was outstanding. They were easy to deal with at every step. They went over the car thoroughly with us, so that we'd know how to change a tire and use the included compressor (this fortunately proved unnecessary). When we discovered that there was no petrol available in Etosha National Park, and were worried we couldn't get to the nearest filling station outside the park, we called them and they arranged for a guy in Etosha to drive with us, to make sure we wouldn't be stranded (in the end, we did make it, with about a liter left). We'd happily rent from GW again. We might rent a larger, sturdier car, rather that the Suzuki Jimny, for Namibia's unpaved roads, but GW did warn us that it would shimmy at higher speeds. With rear-wheel drive, it has a tendency a fishtail on washboarded roads, too.

The GW Team is welcoming, always reachable and provide top-quality vehicles at reasonable rates. I can highly recommend GW for your car rental needs in Namibia!

We have rented from gracious whisp on numerous occasions, never had an issue with them. The cars are always in mint condition, the staff are absolutely amazing ( as always ) We cannot fault anything. Impeccable service from stsrt to finish.
