I ordered few items for personal pickup at a sailing event, and my order was confirmed. Unfortunately, no one was there when I arrived, and I couldn’t find a phone number to contact them. It later turned out that one part wasn’t available and would have to be shipped. After three emails, I received a response six days later. The package was then sent, but one item was missing, so they had to ship again. In total, it took about a month for everything to arrive. On the positive side, communication improved significantly after the initial delay. They also added some extra items I requested to the second shipment and didn’t charge me for shipping. Their attitude was helpful and fair, and the products themselves are perfectly fine. Still, if I had known the process would take this long, I probably would have ordered elsewhere or arranged delivery differently. By the time everything arrived, summer and the sailing season were almost over.

Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion and the long wait. Your order arrived just after we had left the Netherlands for the event, and we had mistakenly left the event pickup option available. We should have contacted you immediately to explain that your order could not be brought to Hungary. The Harken 2-Way Link was listed as out of stock when ordered, but our communication and follow-up should have been much quicker and clearer. We’re glad everything was eventually resolved, but we fully understand your disappointment.

The battery I bought did not work . I dont know if it is the battery or the compass.

As the compass is already 6 years old, it is likely that the problem is related to the compass reaching the end of its service life rather than the new battery. Unfortunately, you may need a new compass, which you can order from us. You are of course welcome to return the battery.
