Regarding your comments about the silicone odor and the lack of visibility during cooking: we completely understand those concerns. The Instant Pot uses a sealed system for optimal safety and pressure build-up, which means it’s not possible to view the cooking process directly. The silicone sealing ring can retain some odor at first, but thankfully we have some great tips to deal with this, which you can also find on our website.
