PrestaShop reviews with the Kiyoh module

No App Store click: you upload a ZIP in the back office, link one API key, and let PrestaShop hooks schedule the review invitation. Languages follow the order localization.

BACK OFFICE

The module comes as a ZIP, not as a catalog search term

PrestaShop reviews start in Modules > Module Manager: you upload kiyoh.zip (release v1.1.0) and install the package there. Then, paste the API key from your Kiyoh account. If you don't have an account yet, start by registering. The product page of the integration — widgets, overview, context — is at /prestashop-koppeling/. This page is the upload and hook path.

Upload → install → API key. The module registers hooks itself.

INSTALLATION

From ZIP to linked order hooks

Download kiyoh.zip

Get the package from the GitHub release v1.1.0: https://github.com/Kiyoh-Klantenvertellen-plugins/Kiyoh-Prestashop-Plugin/releases/download/v1.1.0/kiyoh.zip. Save the file; PrestaShop expects a ZIP upload, not a Composer command.

Upload in Modules > Module Manager

Open the back office, go to Modules > Module Manager, and choose upload. Select kiyoh.zip. PrestaShop extracts the module into the module directory; you don't need to place PHP files yourself.

Install and Paste the API Key

Click on install and open the module configuration. Paste the API key from your Kiyoh dashboard. Without the key, the store remains unlinked, even if the module is set to 'active'.

Automatically Register the Hooks

After installation, the module attaches itself to the PrestaShop order hooks. You don't need to type hook names in theme or override files. Check in Module Manager that the module is active.

Languages via PrestaShop Localization

You don't send multiple languages with a separate Kiyoh language table in the module. The invitation follows the localization/language of the order as PrestaShop already maintains.

HOOKS + LOCALIZATION

Plan Order Hooks, Localization Translates

The module listens to order status hooks in PrestaShop: when an order reaches the status you choose in the module, the review invitation is scheduled. This is a back-office setting, not an additional module in the catalog. Multilingual shops stick to the native localization system — the same languages as your catalog and checkout. Detailed product explanation of the integration remains at prestashop-koppeling; here it's about upload, hooks, and language source.

  • Trigger via PrestaShop order hooks, not via a separate script
  • Hooks are registered by the module upon installation
  • Language of the invitation = localization of the order
  • ZIP + API key is the only manual setup
